Photos: Vail Valley: May 20, 2003

We drove on I-70 for over 1,000 miles -- right into Vail Valley

Beware of dog waste. It is lethal. These signs are hilarious.

The new Donovan Park -- its beautiful, especially in 70 degree, sunny weather.

Still Donovan Park, where the local pick-up games occur. Gore Creek is right behind.

Compared to last year's terrible drought, Donovan Park looks mighty nice. The water level is also exceptionally high as kayakers frequent Gore Creek.

Russell is exhausted from doing something cardiovascular.

As his heart nearly ruptured and his body cramped, Russell slept on the field.

Even as June approaches, snow still covers much of the Eastern Mountain -- near Mountain Top Express.

Frontage Pass, covered with international flags. Notice the absence of cars -- there is nobody present in the valley.

Am I that ugly?

No, but he sure is...
